GOLDEN JUBILEE OF OUR WEDDING

Radhika and Vidyadhar as well as Ravi and Meera celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in Durham on 21st May 2005. Ravi had made a Power Point Presentation showing various events in our lives. Meera had added catchy captions to the slides. It was screened before invitees when Ravi delighted the audience with his witty comments.  Radhika enlivened it with her apt observations. Selected images out of the presentation are uploaded in this web site. Many photographs were shot with decades old cameras and lack of clarity can be attributed as much to the cameraman's amateurishness as to the camera's ability(!). The groupings are not necessarily chronological; arrangement is conceptual. Ravi collected them at short notice and could not do full justice to the completeness. You may click the link to view those  pictures.

Both of us flew into Birmingham, UK  on the 24th May. Raghu, Parvati,  Rama and Ian had organised a family party in Leicester on the 2nd June attended by their families as well as Uma and family. Later they arranged Puja,  Abishekam and Annadanam  in Venkateswara temple on the 12th June. The photos shot on these occasions are in the second compilation.
